Motley Crue’s Vince Neil has played his first solo show of the new year – admittedly, however, it is not getting the best reception. While we all respect Vince and what he has brought forth toward the genre of rock, even he admittedly would probably want this performance back.

A Motley Crue member’s health update was recently revealed. Neil performed on January 14th at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, Ohio. This would mark the only second time he’s performed since injury as the sixty-year-old hair rocker broke his ribs during a show in late 2021.

During the Columbus show, while performing – ‘Wild Side’, one of Motley Crue’s signature tracks, you can hear audibly forgetting the lyrics to his own song and being out of sync with his own band. Neil is scheduled to be on tour Motley Crue along with Def Leppard, Poison and Joan Jett + The Blackhearts are set to embark on a 2022 Stadium tour. This was meant to take place back in 2020 but was rightfully postponed due to the pandemic.

On YouTube, commenter Nightboat Chauffeur stated the following in regards to the performance, which can be viewed below:

“Damn I love the old Motley, but I just can’t handle this train wreck. Vince has never been a good vocalist live, but he looked cool and put on a good show. However, now his vocals are completely shot and he definitely doesn’t have the cool look. There comes a time when nostalgia doesn’t even work and you’ve just got to pass up going to these shows.” While fellow commentor Lloyd Brock also chimed in by saying: “How the hell is he going to be vocally ready for the stadium tour? His singing is bad bad bad. He must never watch his own performances back because if he did he’d quit there and then. I’m a massive Crue fan but this just makes me sad.”
