Johnny Depp joined Stone Temple Pilots onstage in Santa Clarita, CA last night to perform “Sex Type Thing” and “Kick Out The Jams.” MC5’s Wayne Kramer also took part in “Kick Out The Jams.” Depp is Robert DeLeo’s bandmate in the supergroup Hollywood Vampires, which also features Joe Perry and Alice Cooper. Depp joined STP at a recent rehearsal, and Robert DeLeo referred to him as ‘my good friend.’
STP also performed “Glide” live for the first time ever, and performed “Regeneration” for the first time since 2001 and “Atlanta” for the first time since 2000. Watch clips of the performances with Depp below.
