Motley Crue are rumored to be seeking a fourth act for their tour with Def Leppard and Poison, and one major act appears to have preemptively turned down any chance of joining the tour after some brutal onstage insults, and it won’t be a surprise to most fans: Steel Panther. Steel Panther were in brutal feud with Nikki Sixx over the summer after insulting Vince Neil’s weight, and joking that the real Neil died decades ago.

Rock Talk podcast host Mitch Lafon tweeted about the latest diss, “According to fan reports… tonight at the Gramercy Theatre in NYC… Steel Panther’s Satchel said about singer Michael Starr… ‘If he were any dumber, he’d be in Motley Crue.’ Well, cross them off the 4th band list… @lexxi_foxxx @Steel_Panther @MichaelStarrr @Stixzadinia.”

Guitarist Russ Parish said in a live video, “Check it out, I’m gonna write a song about Nikki Sixx right now.”

He then sang, “So you say you love Motley Crue Nikki Sixx. As far as Michael Starr’s, all those guys can suck a bunch of d**ks.”

Starr visibly facepalmed, and Parish added, “Hey I didn’t say it, Michael said it, that’s f**ked up as far as I’m concerned. I love Motley Crue, Motley Crue f**king rules as far as I’m concerned.”

Steel Panther drummer Stix Zadinia took up Motley Crue guitarist Mick Mars on his offer for free tickets on the reunion tour, writing on Twitter, “Seriously, Mick Mars offered free tickets to the world. Mick, can you put @Steel_Panther on the list? What time do you start? Where do I go? Will call? Do I get to see you before the show? Wanna go out afterwards? My friend has a strip bar near the venue!!!!!”
