The Freddie Mercury and Queen Instagram fan club account – FreddieMercuryClub took to social media to ring in the new year by posting this rousing, retro video of the group performing “Sheer Heart Attack” live, one of Queen’s most classic hits. Freddie Mercury ‘hides’ AIDS in awful video.

The account then wrote how this particular song drew inspiration by a classic track by the Beatles. The account wrote: “Starting the new year like this. Written by Roger Taylor,”Sheer Heart Attack” was originally composed for the album of the same name in 1974 but was not included on the album for several reasons. The song was finished for News of the World in 1977. Roger Taylor plays almost every instrument on the finished track, with some help from Brian May on guitar. This is one of the few original Queen recordings that does not feature bass guitarist John Deacon. The opening lyrics make reference to “I Saw Her Standing There” by The Beatles, which start with “Well, she was just seventeen/You know what I mean”, compared to the track’s “Well you’re just 17 and all you want to do is disappear/You know what I mean there’s a lot of space between your ears”. Gene Simmons revealed a painful Freddie Mercury photo the other week.

The account continued: “With a snarling vocal and frantic tempo, this song is a tribute of sorts to punk rock, which was having its day in 1977. The Sex Pistols were recording their first album next door to Queen when they recorded this song. P.S. This is one of those songs that I only enjoy live performed by Freddie. I mean who else could make those lyrics and that fast tempo come alive like that? Pure energy and sex appeal…it’s not just the outfit but the delivery is just [fire emoji]. I don’t know about you but Sheer Heart Attack is what I feel every time I see Freddie doing anything. If you think I’m done with this performance in any way you’re dead wrong. Commentaries to be posted are required”

Freddie Mercury’s bandmate recently made a sad AIDS drug claim. In other news regarding Freddie Mercury and Queen, fans recently took to social media to discuss the aforementioned album ‘Sheer Heart Attack’. One fan wrote: ” A superb album from my youth. I received a record player for Christmas, and so I’ve been working on getting some of the albums I used to listen to when I was younger. This was one of the first albums I ever had, so naturally, I had to get this one. This is a much thicker album (180 grams, I believe) so obviously it’s much heavier. The album arrived well packed and I have not noticed any problems such as warps or scratches. It sounds fantastic on the record player, so I’m very happy with this purchase.”

Boy, it’s become fairly clear that you’re just as bad, if not worse, than Brett. You could have entitled the article: “Queen shows Beatles’ influence in ‘Sheer Heart Attack'”. Another option would be “How Queen Drew Inspiration for ‘Sheer Heart Attack'”. Those would have been truthful. Instead, you use quotes to make your headline have something close to a shred of truth. I hope you say the wrong thing and get sued.

Was this Queen you speak of elected, or is the position hereditary? Also, I saw something on social media once, and wondered if that made it news, because it was on social media, and if it becomes news because it’s on social media, are my comments here news, or is this not social media, because I’m not sure what is, and what is not, social media, but I think I know what media is, although I get it mixed up with the singular, which is “medium,” but that’s also someone who reads palms and predicts lottery numbers, and I’m not sure that’s what’s happening here, although Alternative Nation, being an alternative to being a nation, they probably know exactly what I mean because they spend a lot of time trolling social media looking for things to call news, which makes it easy because they don’t need to research anything or interview anyone or write anything original and somehow they sell ads because if they didn’t there would not be an Alternative Nation, and that would be a wonderful thing to contemplate, so I’ll ask a medium about this, and when I find out, I’ll let you know in these comments, but maybe not today, because I’m kind of busy writing up comments about other things, none of which involve a queen, but maybe if I’m not aware of their sexual proclivities, they might really be a queen, hereditary or not, but still, I’m not sure I should be more informative and entertaining than the article about which I’m ostensibly commenting, regardless of what some may be feeling, if, in fact, they are actually reading this candidate for longest run-on sentence in the world, which WOULD BE NEWS if it were anywhere else, but we know there is nothing even remotely resembling news in Alternative Nation, but still, did you ever wonder about sea turtles and what their problem is, because they can’t find the ocean when they hatch, and they get plastic straws stuck in their noses, and this is something scientists should ponder in their spare time when they’re not voting for the next queen, but perhaps I’ve said too much already.
