Former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum revealed a photo and story about his final album with GNR, 1993’s The Spaghetti Incident, on his social media on Saturday. Slash hilariously mocking his Guns N’ Roses replacement was revealed yesterday.

Sorum wrote, “26 years ago The Spaghetti Incident? Was released, we recorded the songs during the UYI sessions as a fun thing , Duff liking punk mixed with Some covers by Nazareth and obscure track picked by Axl ‘Since I don’t Have You’ by The Skyliners recorded in Boston during UYI tour and a record breaking blizzard on the East Coast.”

Slash recently broke his silence on a fired Guns N’ Roses bandmate. Sorum also wrote about an event coming up next month, “Join Music Drives Us for a rockin’ night with ‘The BFG Three’ featuring Billy F Gibbons, Matt Sorum & Mike Flanigin on Friday, December 13th, 2019. This event will take place at the Norwood Space Center. Doors will open at 7:00pm. See you there! For more information go to: www.musicdrivesus.org.”

Sorum also celebrated his friend’s landmark birthday and his own wedding anniversary in the last few weeks. Sorum said, “Happy 80th Birthday to @richardobarry of @dolphin_project A man who has dedicated is life to ending the captivity of Dolphins worldwide. He is the guiding light and the greatest grassroots activist and environmentalist I know #dontbuyatickettoadolphinshow #emptythetanks.”

He added, “Happy Anniversary @aceharper 6 years ago today was the greatest day of my life. Our bond has only grown stronger as we build our amazing life together. You inspire me everyday with your faith and grace. I love you with all of my Heart ❤️ photo @michaelsegalphoto.” Slash discussed a ‘break’ with Guns N’ Roses last week.
