Linkin Park fans are speculating a potential performance date as they tease highly anticipated reunion. According to a fan who works at the Kia Forum, there’s an event scheduled for September 11th with the title simply listed as “LP.” This cryptic event listing has led to speculation that Linkin Park could be gearing up for a major performance, possibly tied to the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) happening the same day.

Linkin Park to perform on September 11

One fan pointed out that the VMAs are set to take place on September 11, fueling speculation that the “LP” event at the Kia Forum might be a live performance that will be broadcast during the awards show.

If that’s true, this wouldn’t be the first time Linkin Park has staged an “off-site” performance for the VMAs. Back in 2010, the band performed “The Catalyst” at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles as part of their promotion for A Thousand Suns.

However, unlike 2010, this year’s VMAs will take place in New York City. Some fans argue that it would make more sense for Linkin Park to perform at an iconic New York location if they’re going to be part of the show. Yet, the possibility of a live broadcast from the Kia Forum, especially with the band’s history of creative performances, remains an intriguing option.

Adding to the speculation, Linkin Park is also nominated for a VMA this year, which could further increase the chance of their involvement in the awards show. A performance at the Kia Forum, broadcast live during the VMAs, would be a powerful way for the band to mark their return, especially if it’s their first major performance since their hiatus.

While nothing has been confirmed, the rumor floats and fans are eagerly awaiting any official announcements. All eyes will be on September 11 as fans speculate about what could be Linkin Park’s next chapter.

Meanwhile, Linkin Park’s announcement of an event on September 5th has also got fans excited. The band has invited fans to “Be Part Of Something,” reserved for LPUnderground members on September 5th. The cryptic announcement has fueled further speculation that a major reveal is imminent. A message on the band’s official website reads simply: “Be part of something. September 5.” They also released a waiver for the event. Previously, the band had posted a mysterious 100-hour countdown timer on their social media accounts.
