A Tool fan named Reeltutt recently posted on Reddit about Maynard James Keenan quitting a concert in Idaho in 1998 to stop fighting in the crowd. A Tool member’s wife wearing a stunning leather outfit was just revealed.
Reeltutt posted, “First tool show. They quit early because of fighting in the crowd. They warned everyone in the middle of the show. Maynard talked about the “difference between anger and hate. Anger is productive. Hate is not. Stop beating each other up or we’ll leave.” Crowd didn’t listen. They left.”
Boycerdh commented, “I heard about this. I don’t blame them. Embarrassing for us. They came back a couple years ago so maybe we proved ourselves!” Reeltutt shot back, “They were back in ‘02 as well. All seating tho. No open floor since.”
A fan wrote on Facebook about a more positive recent Tool show experience in Australia, “Met Justin Chancellor yesterday while walking around the quay area. I told him I didn’t have the chance to get a ticket this time round cos I’m a struggling muso lad…so he asked for my name and organized me a free one.”
