Eddie Van Halen sickness and health rumors have run rampant in the last couple of weeks since David Lee Roth said he had heard ‘rumors’ about Eddie’s health during a radio interview, but he refused to elaborate out of respect to his longtime bandmate. SiriusXM host Eddie Trunk first floated the rumors this year when the original lineup Van Halen reunion tour mysteriously fell apart without any explanation, and he recently was sent a new Eddie Van Halen restaurant bar photo. Michael Anthony has now echoed David Lee Roth’s statement, saying he had also heard rumors.
robyoungblood1962 told Michael, “Sad day we are losing all of the greatest bands. Eddie Van Halen May be ill himself.” Michael Anthony responded, “Hope not, but I’ve heard rumors……”
dazedcufused asked, “Is Eddie Van Halen really sick or David Lee Roth talking shit?” Anthony shot back, “I’ve heard rumors……..”

Anthony revealed a few months ago that he had spoken with David Lee Roth’s business manager and Van Halen manager Irving Azoff about a July 2019 reunion tour, and he even revealed that the band would have been rehearsing in June, and it was part of the reason Sammy Hagar and the Circle had a touring break scheduled. Eddie Van Halen’s wife was driven to tears when sent a video recently.
