Motley Crue are reportedly set to reunite for their first tour in 5 years this summer with Def Leppard and Poison on a joint bill. With that kind of star power, you would have to expect stadiums to get booked. This news comes from The Black Crowes manager Mark Didia, who made the remark earlier this week on a radio station. The Black Crowes themselves just announced a reunion tour, along with Rage Against The Machine and My Chemical Romance, so 2020 is definitely shaping up to be the year of the big money reunion tours.

Eddie Trunk recently hinted at a Motley Crue tour on Twitter, stating that bands that were seemingly retired would be back for huge paydays in 2020. A rumor also circulated on Radar Online that Motley Crue have a $150 million tour offer from Live Nation, but that Vince Neil and Tommy Lee were feuding, with promoters wanting Neil to lose 40 pounds and for Lee to go to rehab. Neil shot down the feud rumors and said he hadn’t spoken to his bandmates in months, but he never explicitly said that there weren’t reunion tour dates in the works.

Neil tweeted a few days ago, “People these rumors are false. I haven’t spoken to any band member’s since movie premiere. I had to cancel shows due to back problems which I am getting treatment now. There is no tension between me and Tommy. Don’t believe anything from These so-called gossip sites. Keep Rocking.” Lee later liked the tweet. Neil only has a few shows booked for 2020, while Nikki Sixx had surgery this year and has nothing booked. Tommy Lee and Mick Mars are working on solo projects, but have no tour dates currently booked, so 2020 seems wide open for Motley Crue if the rumors are true.
