Motley Crue Bassist Reveals Big Name Gave Him Heroin

Motley Crue were recently blasted by Hanoi Rocks and John CorabiCorabi recently revealed that Hanoi Rocks guitarist Andy McCoy almost hit him with his cane because of his association with Motley Crue. Motley Crue vocalist Vince Neil’s drunk-driving deadly car crash had grabbed some headlines. Andy McCoy and Nikki Sixx have gone back and forth in a war of words.

McCoy recently lambasted Motley Crue over their account of Hanoi drummer Nicholas “Razzle” Dingley’s death. He had blasted Nikki Sixx as well. Sixx had also fired back without mentioning his critics.

Hanoi Rocks drummer’s comments about Vince Neil never apologizing for killing his bandmate in a drunk driving accident, and calling Motley Crue ‘ripoffs’ for their 2022 tour, appeared to be the real target of his ire.

Razzle was killed and two other people were seriously injured when Crue singer Vince Neil, whose blood alcohol level was 0.17, which was over the legal limit, smashed his car into another vehicle in Redondo Beach, California in December 1984.

Nikki Sixx takes a shot at Andy McCoy

McCoy had given several interviews in which he slammed Sixx over his account of his heroin overdose, as published in Crue’s best-selling band autobiography, “The Dirt: Confessions Of The World’s Most Notorious Rock Band” and “The Dirt” biopic.

On Saturday, August 13, Nikki took to his Twitter to write: “Andy Mcoy has been on a rant saying I never thanked him for saving my life after a heroin overdose. It’s true. I also never thanked him for getting me the drug’s during my deadly addiction that night..I get it, he’s just trying to sell a book ,a album or club tour…”
