As Aerosmith and Steven Tyler are resuming their Las Vegas ‘Deuces Are Wild’ residency, Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx has weighed in with some high praise.

“I gotta say…I’ve been a fan of @Aerosmith since I bought their 1st album the day it came out in 1973. I was 15 years old living in Seattle Washington. For me they are one of the greatest rock n roll bands to ever form and are still kicking ass. WHO IS YOUR BAND?”

He posted earlier “Build your supergroup:

Lead Vocalist:
Guitarist 1:
Guitarist 2:
Bassist:
Drummer:”

“Now that’s you’ve built your supergroup I guess we need a good band name: Gimmie your top 3 ideas…(This should be good).”

Motley Crue were recently indirectly mentioned by President Trump in a tweet, “Only Fake Polls show us behind the Motley Crew,” using the term to refer to Democrats’ polling practices. Nikki Sixx responded to the mention from the President in a new Variety interview.

“No one will ever know,” Sixx quips. “All I can say about that is he spelled our name wrong.”

Sixx discussed the success of ‘The Dirt’ biopic as well, “Because there are a lot of bad movies out there. And if you asked the critics, ours is one of them! But Netflix is reported that it’s one of their highest streams, and we have a 98% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

“I don’t even really know what it means,” he laughs, “but it’s definitely good.”
