Nikki Sixx has confirmed that Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has undergone surgery for a health issue, and Neil himself has confirmed that he has made it through and is fine.

Sixx said, “Looking positive. See ya soon bro.” Neil broke his silence after the surgery, writing on Thursday, “Happy Thanksgiving!”

DonJuanDeMarco posted on the MetalSludge.com forums in response to Vince’s surgery, “Vince has the best caps in the business. Even though he’s extremely overweight he is a good looking guy. He just looks legitimately happy. I’m rooting for him to get in shape.”

Tommy Lee wrote on Thanksgiving, “I have so much to be thankful for this year!! We all spend so much time listing all the things and people we’re thankful for and that’s great and I’ll do that privately in my meditation this morning…also I seriously hope you all set aside a few moments to thank yourself! What you are today is in great result and response to all that you’ve given and contributed to your life this year.” Nikki Sixx commented, “Yes.”

The Motley Crue 2020 reunion tour with Def Leppard and Poison is set to kick off in North American stadiums next summer, with a fourth act also being on the bill at concerts, though it may be rotating rather than the same specific act every night. Motley Crue are facing lawsuit threats from fans, and broke their ‘cessation of touring’ agreement signed in 2014 before their farewell tour to reunite due to the success of their Netflix biopic ‘The Dirt.’
