Former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Carmine Appice told a story about watching Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne actually hitting each other and the two then going about their business afterward as if nothing else was wrong during a recent interview with the podcast Full on Bloom. Ozzy Osbourne was ‘turned down’ by this A-list actor in a video recently.
Appice stated how this originally disturbed him as he stated on the podcast: “Oh yeah, oh my god. As I said, I’m from an Italian family, we don’t hit women like that. I was ready to go in between them and say, ‘Ozzy, what are you doing?’.
Appice continued: “[Bassist] Bob Daisley said, ‘Stay out of it. She punches him, he punches her, it’s ridiculous.’ And we’re in a restaurant on the side of a freeway, you know, at a truck stop.” During the same interview, the legendary drummer was asked about his relationship with acclaimed Ozzy Osbourne guitarist – Jake E. Lee and what it was like to work with him. Ozzy Osbourne made out with this woman at a restaurant last week.
Appice said: “Jake, he’s a good guy, he’s a very introverted kind of person, very hard to get on the phone. We were friends, we were the only Americans, even when we were not on the road, we were hanging out together and stuff. But then he got really messed up on I think was some sort of drugs, and then he disappeared, and when he came back I had a cellphone, I called him, he didn’t answer. I saw him in New York; I said, ‘Dude, call me.’ He called back, he said, ‘You know me, I hate the phone.'”
