Pearl Jam announced a European tour this week that insider Dimitrispearljam has leaked on the Ten Club boards for weeks, and now he has confirmed a 2020 North American tour.
Dimitrispearljam said, “PEARL JAM WILL PLAY USA BEFORE ELECTIONS..MORE DETAILS WHEN I KNOW MORE…CHEERS AND SEE SOME OF YOU IN EUROPE NEXT SUMMER.”
RYME posted, “I’m just glad they are still a band. I was getting pretty worried that maybe they were just done. No news of any sorts for months/years on end. Most bands don’t release new material prior to every tour. The play The greatest hits in everybody loves it. Some fans here here want nothing but Rarities and obscure tracks deep cuts.
I will take this as good news and run with it..It’s funny just last night I was thinking about starting a new thread called COME BACK. It was going to be a thread where fans could express their appreciation for this band, what the band has meant to them over the years, songs or albums that got them through good times and bad. Maybe at some point I’ll try to start the Pearl Jam Appreciation Thread.”
Pearl Jam made a stunning Linkin Park revelation a couple of days ago. The Ten Clubber continued, “They don’t have to have a new album and a new stage design for me to enjoy. They can put whatever stage they want out there. Doesn’t matter to me what songs they decided to play, Greatest Hits, Rarities, Full albums or all of the above. I don’t understand all the whining and telling them what they should do to make us happy and do what we deserve.
I don’t know, do the die-hard Neil Young fans, Who fans, Fleetwood Mac fans, John Mellencamp fans, fill in the blanks fans do this? Scream from the rooftops demanding a new album prior to touring, telling them what to do where to play, demand what the bloody stage should look like, and what songs they should play every time a gig is announced? I don’t think so.”
He concluded, “If they play only In Europe, or Japan or Australia or places that I cannot pronounce, I guess I won’t be going, if they announce a ballpark stadium tour I won’t be going. I guess when the tour bus, and 5 semi truck loads say your name on it you can do whatever you want with your band. Cheers Pearl Jam!!
