Slipknot icon Sid Wilson fell right near bandmate Jim Root at a recent concert, brushing him but fortunately not directly landing on him. Root seemed angered, and threw his guitar. A Slipknot member recently screwed up a “Spit It Out” performance.

KingGoat13 commented on Reddit, “Dude this kinda stuff reminds me of the old days, AHIG and .5 just didn’t seem like this.”

LifeIsPeachy725 chimed in, “Do you guys think it’s a gimmick of them to do wacky shit on stage and throw stuff at one another or is that a legit response from Jim?”

HopelessMind43 added, “I’ll bet it was legit. I can fully understand getting really pissed of in the heat of the moment.”

LifeIsPeachy725 responded, “Just surprised you’d think they would chill in their old age. That’s stuff you’d see in their early days. I kinda like seeing this though. Shows they’re still a band that goes through the same issues even a small youthful band would.”

DoomedAndDead wrote, “From what I can tell of Jim just from interviews and such I’m betting he honestly wanted Sid to **** off.”

sentient_potato_ 2 said, “What do you mean, as in he’s been really kissed of with Sid lately?”

DoomedAndDead responded, “Nah, nothing like that. He just seems like he wants to be left alone to do his stuff and not be ****ed with. It really looks like Sid didn’t mean to do it but I could see him just kind of snapping in the moment thinking Sid meant to do it.”

A Slipknot member unloaded after mask ripoff accusations a few days ago. WhoKilledZekeIddon concluded, “There seems to be a bit of an unspoken rule about the fucking around not being aimed at the guys on stringed instruments. I can imagine Jim’s shock at nearly having Sid nearly land on his head from a great height, followed quickly by a heat-of-the-moment response.”
