Fans believe that a new project of Blink-182 is definitely in progress. It has been noted that over the past few weeks, Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus, and Travis Barker have been posting photos of themselves in the studio. There was speculation as to what the band could be teasing and it seems we may finally have some answers.
Tom DeLonge teases new Blink-182 project
A new photo from DeLonge shows that he is working on something that currently is titled “Blink Main Rhythm.” This coupled with all of the other photos of the three laying down tracks in the studio seems to suggest we could be soon getting more new music from the band.
Blink-182 are seemingly back in the studio, working on a new material. This has certainly got the fans buzzing. The iconic trio – Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker have are back together to do what they do best – to create memorable tracks. Recently, Travis Barker grabbed attention of the fans when he also posted a photo of what appeared to be Mark Hoppus in the studio recording both bass and some vocal tracks. This fueled the speculation of the eagle-eyed fans that a new album is on the horizon.
The band’s “One More Time” album that was released in October last year was the touching reunion of the iconic trio – Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge, and Travis Barker. The album was released after years of solo projects and several shuffling in the lineup.
Fans were hungry for more and they are currently anticipating what the band has in store for them. Blink-182 are possibly working on a new album and it makes their ardent fans excited for the future. Meanwhile, the band is set to hit the road in June.
Blink-182 are set to go on a “One More Time Tour” in June, and ahead of the outing, the pop-punk band has offered some details on what fans can expect. It has come to light that for starters an exciting roster of opening acts for the dates has been revealed.
The list also includes Pierce the Veil, jxdn, Drain, Hot Milk, Landon Barker, and more. Moreover, for two shows in Texas this June, Blink-182 will be joined by metalcore legends, Live Without, the band from the forever-iconic “What the f**k is up Denny’s” video.
In the past, Blink-182 had revealed some details for the “new production elements” that will be enforced in the upcoming dates and promised a “brand-new show.” The band has further notified that it will now play in a 360-degree-view setting which will allow more fan seating by placing their stage in the center of the arena. In addition to this, they’ll be offering new VIP packages.
