Kid Rock been a prominent supporter of former President of The United States Donald Trump. They have been close since the former first visited the latter in the White House in 2017. Previously, an image went viral that featured Kid Rock, Ted Nugent, and Sarah Palin flanking a grinning Trump behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

Donald Trump calls Kid Rock by his real name

Kid Rock’s real name is Robert James Ritchie, and he is also known as Bobby Shazam. It turns out Trump prefers addressing him as Bob. Kid Rock played a video message from his friend and golf partner, former U.S. president Donald Trump, during the kick-off concert of his “Bad Reputation” tour Thursday night, April 7 in Evansville, Indiana.

Before launching into his anti-Joe Biden anthem “We The People”, Rock, who was born Robert James Ritchie, played the message from Trump, who was sporting a “Make America Rock Again” hat.

“Hello, everyone,” Trump said. “I love you all. I know you’re having a great time at the Kid Rock concert tonight. Quite frankly, he’s amazing. All of you in attendance are the true backbone of our great country — hard-working, God-fearing rock and roll patriots.”

He added: “Bob is truly one of the greatest entertainers of our time. Not the best golfer by any means — his golf game could use a little work — but a great, great entertainer, and that’s why you’re there.

“Let’s all continue to love one another, fight for our God-given freedoms, and most of all, let’s make America rock again.”\

Last month, Kid Rock made some bold claims about Donald Trump’s supporters. Previously, similar to how Trump made some comments on COVID-19 vaccination, Kid Rock had also grabbed the headlines for being a vocal critic of the pandemic guidelines and vaccine mandates, vowing earlier in January that he will not perform at venues that have a vaccine and face mask mandate throughout the duration of his last musical tour, according to USA Today.
