The Beatles icon Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson were good friends, and a rare photo was recently uploaded by SiriusXM host Eric Alper. He wrote, “‘I don’t care if you’re the King of Pop or the greatest songwriter in history, you’re helping out!’ Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney washing dishes, 1983.” McCartney recently detailed a sickness with ‘constant pain’ that he’s seen.

The photo has a gross backstory though, as when it was taken, Jackson was preparing to betray his friend with a business deal. Dianne Y M responded, “I think this is the time frame Jackson went behind Paul’s back and stole the Lennon-McCartney songs from under him. Kinda ruins the moment.”

Valerie Lynn said, “And then Michael bought up the Beatles catalogue. As Paul said, ‘It’s weird to be friends and then have your friend pull the rug you’re standing on out from under you.’ But I (me) love M.J. anyway. 💯💖💋🎧”

Paul McCartney was recently photographed driving a ‘party girl’ in Beverly Hills. McCartney recently wrote in a new post on his website about an artist who never let him down, “I first heard of Eduardo Paolozzi through Stuart Sutcliffe, our original bass player. In the 60s, I became more familiar with his work through my friend Robert Fraser’s gallery. In fact, I bought one of Eduardo’s sculptures which Robert had in his apartment and I’ve had it now since the 60s.

Later, I asked Eduardo to contribute to the artwork for ‘Red Rose Speedway’ which he did brilliantly. I admired and bought one of his wooden collages and always felt that his influence on British art was perhaps a little underestimated. I once visited his Chelsea (London) studio and was impressed by his sense of humour, the twinkle in his eye and his generosity. I think his contribution to the British pop art scene (even though I don’t think he liked that term) was extremely important.” McCartney revealed earlier this week what he refuses to eat.
