Pink Floyd creative force Roger Waters recently spoke to the Global Consortium for Sustainable Peace in a recent YouTube interview to discuss a bunch of topics. Here Waters reveals, in his words, how Waters was thrust into the role of the band’s chief creative visionary once Syd Barrett left and how Waters helped form the group. Roger Waters brutally rips terrible David Gilmour songs.

Roger told the show’s host: “He came up a year or two after me and moved into an apartment I had with Rick and Nick – and that was sort of the start of it. [Syd] was full of ideas and deeply attached to the west coast experimental stuff that as going on with Love and other bands. And the rest is history.”

Waters later stated: “It was sink or swim,” he reflects, “David might have a different opinion this, but a b1and can only survive if somebody is writing.”

In other news regarding Pink Floyd and Roger Waters, a leading US-based Jewish group recently penned a letter to Major League Baseball and MLB commissioner Robert Manfred recently over the league’s promotion of Roger Waters’ new tour – the “This Is Not a Drill” tour. Roger Waters makes brutal David Gilmour ‘divorce’ claim.

The letter states: “We write to express our deep dismay at mlb.com’s advertisement of presale tickets to a Roger Waters concert tour.” Also charing and alleging: “Waters is an avowed anti-Semite whose views on Jews and Israel far exceed the boundaries of civil discourse.” This letter was penned by B’nai B’rith International President Charles O. Kaufman and CEO Daniel S. Mariaschin.

The duo later continued: “He participates in the discriminatory, anti-Israel Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions movement and castigates other musicians for performing in Israel,” they added. “He has blamed ‘the Jewish Lobby’ for intimidating anti-Israel critics like him. And he has falsely labeled the Jewish state a ‘racist apartheid regime’ and claimed Israel is guilty of ‘ethnic cleansing.’ We call on MLB to cease providing Roger Waters a platform,” the B’nai B’rith International leaders concluded. Roger Waters rips horrible David Gilmour ‘cash grab’.
