While AC/DC are rumored to tour in 2020 with a reunion of Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Cliff Williams, and Phil Rudd, and a bizarre festival listing has appeared on ViaGogo.de, claiming the band will perform on May 22, 2020 at Maryland Deathfest in Baltimore.
This rumor should definitely be taken with a grain of salt due to the name of the festival, but it adds further fuel to the fire that the band will tour next year, just a few weeks after The Black Crowes manager Mark DiDia claimed AC/DC will be back on the road next year, just after claiming Motley Crue would tour with Def Leppard, which was officially confirmed early due to the leak.
Angus Young calling out an AC/DC bandmate for ‘not having a job’ anymore was revealed a couple of days ago. Some fans on ACDCFans.net even believed that a big announced on Wednesday would be the AC/DC tour. AcesHigh10 said, “Sirius XM radio, the classic rewind channel, was talking about a ‘rock announcement’ this Wednesday at 4pm from Los Angeles, on the Volume channel. Said is was big news. The DJ said only thing I can think of is the AC/DC rumor. Anybody heard anything? Said they would be guests, and it would be live…might be anything, Crue, but that really ain’t new…”
Morty84 responded, “It’s the Motley Crue/Poison/Def Leppard tour announcement. Poison has a countdown clock on their site that ends at 4pm on Dec. 4th, per Ultimate Classic Rock.”
Gavin82 chimed in, “January could be the month we’ve all been waiting for…” CarolinaReaper responded, “Angus will be down under – I doubt anything will happen until January now.” An AC/DC girlfriend affair was revealed earlier this week.
