Eddie Van Halen fans have been concerned about his health in recent weeks after David Lee Roth gave a cryptic statement regarding rumors that he may be ill. SiriusXM host Eddie Trunk also commented on rumors of Eddie being sick, saying he had been sent a new photo of Eddie Van Halen where he looks ‘different’ at a restaurant bar. Eddie Van Halen’s beautiful wife Janie Van Halen has tweeted for the first time since the rumors, though it could be totally unrelated as she frequently posts motivational statements.

Janie tweeted, “One day you will thank yourself for never giving up.” A fan named Mikey responded, “Good morning Janie! Hope you have a lovely day! All the best to Ed, and I hope he’s doing great as well!”

Former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar recently canceled his High Tide festival in California at Huntington State Beach. He said, “Like you, I’m surprised & disappointed about High Tide, and sorry for the fans who are inconvenienced – I’ll make it up to you Redheads, starting with an extra free show Oct 8 w/ the Wabos in Cabo! (old style – first come, first served).”

robmontague1 commented, “Sammy, sorry man. Hope everyone know you had nothing to do with it. Where’s Shep when you need him😄. Love the 10/8 old school idea. Next year change venue to Doheny.”

Hagar responded, “No shit.” robmontague1 said, “@sammyhagar with all due respect last year was a “shit show” in VIP area. Did not do justice to the Sammy Hagar band, as a fan from the beginning when you were still a broke MF😀 Going to be hard to make a good experience at the current venue. Good luck man, your doing the right thing with Cabo and pop up shows #Humblerockstar. #integrity. #noEVH. #noDLR.” Eddie Van Halen was caught on video by a rude fan in a newly surfaced video.
