In other news revolving KISS and Sophie Simmons’ ‘demon dad’ Gene Simmons, fans of the ‘hottest band in the land recently took to social media via the official subreddit of the group to recall their first KISS concert and memories from that show.
The fan continued: “In the Kiss Alive Forever book, there is a picture of Peter with a huge black eye and it mentions that while on stage, he was hit with a lighter that someone threw from the audience during that show. Paul was probably unaware of what actually happened when he made the announcement to the audience.”
Other Reddit users brought up their experiences from that particular tour. Arnoldo_fayne put: “I was there too and remember Peter Criss passing out. My dad took me to the concert along with my younger brother. I decided to take my tape recorder to record the show . . .the security guard just shrugged his shoulder and let me take it in. I had that tape for years before I lost it.”
