In other news revolving KISS and Sophie Simmons’ ‘demon dad’ Gene Simmons, fans of the ‘hottest band in the land recently took to social media via the official subreddit of the group to recall their first KISS concert and memories from that show.

Gene Simmons daughter reveals horrible injury video. One fan noted their experience: “January 13, 1978, Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA. The Rockets opened. I remember the show selling out that day, and as we were walking up to the arena, people were wandering around trying to buy tickets. This was much less common then than it is now. I remember them stopping the show at one point, and if I remember right, Paul Stanley announced that “Peter Criss just passed out”. So, they left the stage and left the lights down. Everyone just kind of sat there in silence for a while, and then they came back and finished the show.”

The fan continued: “In the Kiss Alive Forever book, there is a picture of Peter with a huge black eye and it mentions that while on stage, he was hit with a lighter that someone threw from the audience during that show. Paul was probably unaware of what actually happened when he made the announcement to the audience.”

Other Reddit users brought up their experiences from that particular tour. Arnoldo_fayne put: “I was there too and remember Peter Criss passing out. My dad took me to the concert along with my younger brother. I decided to take my tape recorder to record the show . . .the security guard just shrugged his shoulder and let me take it in. I had that tape for years before I lost it.”

Gene Simmons’ daughter mocks awful photo of dad. While Arg2k said: “So, throwing cheap shots since 78 haha, but in all seriousness, it must be a pain in the ass to go on stage and having a member not be able to keep up. Indulge in all your vices as much as you want, as long as the show is not affected I guess”
