Pearl Jam guitarist Mike McCready, Red Hot Chili Peppers members Josh Klinghoffer and Chad Smith, Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins, and Guns N’ Roses bassist Duff McKagan formed a supergroup for the ‘Peak to the Sky’ festival in Montana last year, and it appears the festival will be back this summer and McCready will be back, though it’s unclear who will join him, especially after Josh Klinghoffer’s RHCP departure, though this should mean his schedule will be clear with John Frusciante back in the band. Chris Rock revealed why he’s ‘praying’ for a Red Hot Chili Peppers member a few days ago.

Lone_N_Stoned asked recently on Reddit if Flea will release another book after John Frusciante’s RHCP comeback, “I just finished Acid for the Children and honestly I didn’t really have high expectations going in but I ended up really liking it, Flea did a good job. I liked how he talked about a lot about the music that influenced him. But at the end of the book he had that page with all these questions in the third person, hinting about a second book about his adult life. Does anyone know if this is confirmed?”
Freakapotomous responded, “Actually he already wrote that roughly. Before acid for the children he wrote a traditional ‘rock star book’ about the band, and drugs, and stuffs which story has ended in circa 2000. But he changed his mind and instead of finishing that he had written a new book about his early years. That’s why the book arrives almost 5 five years later after it was announced.
‘after the last page of the finished version there’s a somewhat tongue-in-cheek-seeming teaser for a second volume. Flea said he changes his mind day to day about whether he’s going to write one. ‘I’ve become kind of obsessed with the idea of writing a novel,’ he admitted. But for the moment, the future held only a photo shoot.'” John Frusciante’s 2020 touring plans with Red Hot Chili Peppers were just revealed.
