The official Twitter account of Ringo Starr posted this light-hearted photograph of the acclaimed drummer sitting on the lap of late A-list singer Harry Nillson. The photo originally came from Nilsson’s Instagram with the caption: “This holiday season, hold your friends close and keep your shades on. In other news regarding Ringo Starr, fans recently took to social media to discuss one of Starr’s most classic albums – ‘Ringo’, originally released from 1973. One fan stated: “Yeah, Ringo was the “limited” Beatle, his singing was, at best, serviceable, and his drumming would not rank as journey-level Sheila E! But, this 1973 release stills ranks as one of the 1970’s best pop albums. The remastered version features the addition of three cuts, one of which is Starr’s hit “It Don’t Come Easy.” These “extras” were not necessary because the album holds its own in its original form.
