Tool Singer Maynard James Keenan ‘Thrown Out’ Of Studio

Smashing Pumpkins guitarist James Iha reportedly ejected Tool frontman Maynard James Keenan from the studio a couple of days ago. The rock icons played together in A Perfect Circle from the early 2000’s until last year. Now, video has surfaced of Iha telling Maynard to ‘get out’ of the studio. Maynard said, “Tell us again why you kicked us out of the other studio there, because you’re working on what?” Iha responded, “You had to go, you know that.” The Smashing Pumpkins are currently recording ‘Shiny and Oh So Bright Volumes 2 and 3’ while Keenan is working on a new Puscifer album.

Tool revealed another surprise new album release a few days ago. On Tool’s fall 2019 ‘Fear Inoculum’ North American fall tour, the posters at shows have been very popular, with many being resold on eBay for hundreds of dollars.

goosemangofilms wrote on Reddit, “Small print: Of course I think having the band’s signature is top drawer and a cool as fuck piece to own, not to mention the value added… but purely in terms of the artwork on some of these tour posters, I’m finding the unsigned ones more attractive/appealing to look at.”

freshpotatosoup responded, “I could really give a shit about someone’s scribbles on a poster. As far as aesthetics, it’s hit or miss on some of them. The doodle one’s as well, some look pretty dope while some detract from it.

It would be one thing if I ran into them and got them to sign it, but I don’t think it’s worth the price of admission. To each their own though.”

Zlatan25 said, “Agreed. I was early enough to get a signed one but my goal was just a regular poster. Don’t think I could justify the extra $240 for signatures looking back. Maybe if I was a scalper I woulda grabbed an extra few lol. I just wish I could get my hands on more of the prints for a reasonable price. The Atlantic city and NY posters were siiiick.” Maynard James Keenan confirmed his 2021 plans last week.
