In other news about Paul McCartney, with the holiday season just days away fans recently took to social media to reflect on McCartney’s hit Christmas single ‘Wonderful Christmastime’ which can be heard on the album, Back to the Egg’ during his time with Wings. One fan stated: “I was very happy to find this excellent quality Japanese CD release of McCartney & Wings’ “Back To The Egg” album, as my old vinyl copies were starting to wear out. Paul McCartney horrible Pink Floyd ‘confrontation’ revealed. The fan continued: “The sound quality is excellent. McCartney has been reissuing his older albums as newly remastered releases, but with recent reissues coming up of “McCartney II” (1980) and “Tug Of War” (1981), he has for some reason skipped over the release of this 1979 effort. That leaves me scratching my head, as this is by far my favorite Wings album. McCartney’s vocals and bass work are absolutely superb on this recording. All of the tracks/songs are strong and showcase the band as a unit. Highly recommended if you can get this imported release.”
