Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder made a huge 2020 elections announcement at a recent mural unveiling with Wyland in Seattle. Photos of the Vedder painting the massive mural with Wyland were recently revealed. Alternative Nation transcribed his remarks.
“It’s your favorite mural [Wyland], but I have a feeling you say that to all your murals. It is certainly one of the best, and when you see the timing of it, it could be the most important.
I hope everybody out there in these upcoming elections, and everybody you support, from city council to President of the Unites States, I really truly hope at this time, on this planet, it’s so fragile, I hope you vote with environment thoughts first.”
Vedder’s surprising text messages to an A-list star were revealed earlier this month. Eddie Vedder’s wife Jill wrote about the mural unveiling, “So honored to have our family be part of this incredible mural dedication to Seattle by #Wyland on one of our city’s most iconic hotels the #EdgewaterHotel .. reminding everyone from everywhere to pay attention and care for our planet .. and especially our precious Orca Whales which are dear to our hearts here in Washington 💙 …#LoveOurMotherEarth #TakeCareofOurPlanet #SaveOurOrcaWhales #jpod #enviromentmatters 🐳🌍#101 #wylandfoundation.”
Vedder’s wife called out a big name for being ‘shameful’ after terrible news came out a few weeks ago.
