Graeme proclaimed: “With very few exceptions (Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Lenny Kravitz, Foo Fighters, etc), Green Day have almost proven to be a once in a generation band. Not many artists can continually reinvent themselves like they have, from Dookie to American Idiot, and Foxboro Hot Tubs to !uno/!dos/!tres. They keep making great music (unlike some of the talentless “celebrity” hacks shown in the video)”

Billie Joe Armstrong had drinks with a Guns N’ Roses member in a photo not too long ago. Trent chimed in by stating: “Its such a name the music industry snubs the real artists, the Rock genre, while sure Green Day got to play (which was amazing) but seeing the best pop/rock (literally called that) album going to a pop singer..which not a single rock artist nominated for that list, is a slap in the face to the industry.
