The Beatles icon Paul McCartney revealed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earlier this week that Elvis Presley messed up the lyrics of “Yesterday” when covering it, along with Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, and Marvin Gaye. Paul McCartney’s daughter was disrespected on television yesterday.

“The funny thing about Sinatra, Marvin and Elvis they changed the words,” he said. “In the middle I say, ‘I said something wrong, now I long for yesterday.’ All of them said, ‘I must have said something wrong,’ they’re not owning up!”

He also told the BBC about the 2016 Brexit vote, saying that a lot said during the campaign were “all crazy promises.”

“What put me off was that I was meeting a lot of older people, kind of pretty much my generation.”

“And they were going, ‘All right Paul – it’s going to be like it was in the old days, we’re going to go back.’ And it was like, ‘Yeah? Oh, I’m not sure about that.’ And that attitude was very prevalent.

“I vote for someone I believe in and so often there’s nobody I believe in. I have to get a bit inspired. At the moment I’m not really inspired.”

Paul McCartney revealed why The Beatles breakup was ‘hell’ a few days ago. McCartney announced on his website on Wednesday, “Every music fan has questions they’d love to ask their favourite musicians, so that is why PaulMcCartney.com is giving Paul’s the unique opportunity to get theirs answered by the man himself.

Fans can submit their questions for the ‘You Gave Me The Answer’ feature by clicking ‘Start Survey’ below. We then select our favourites to discuss with Paul and post his answers at the end of each month.

Fans can send in as many questions as they wish and each month we will notify the lucky fan whose question was picked so please don’t forget to include your email address! All the best! PaulMcCartney.com.” Paul McCartney’s wife reacting to a Jimi Hendrix affair rumor was revealed last week.
